I'm about to undergo a fair test in how the internet runs and how people see it. Don't get me wrong. I'm not going to be fucking with people as such, it's more sort of another "experiment" of mine.

I just want to see how it goes and I'll try and keep you updated here. Don't know how I will go with that thought.

Immigration to Aus...

Yea so here's the deal i was watching the news the other day and it was doing a story on boat people coming to Australia as refugees and all that shit and it got me thinking about what everyone else in Australia thinks about immigration even if its not asylum seekers just people moving here to work or live etc.So then i thought to myself what better fucking place to discuss shit but right here .

I personally think if we let too many in were fucked and im not saying this because im a "racist aussie" if you know what i mean but im saying it so we still have some Australian jobs and cultural values left in the years to come when im old or my kids have grown up.It scares me seeing the influx of fuckin non Aussies runing around causing a muck on our streets with total disregard for our way of life.

I just hope Australia doesn't turn into America were Americans are becoming the minority.....

Well Fuck some peole are just plain fuck heads

Well it's been awhile since I've been back here my name was stock not anymore im Fіɖgɘτƨ now stock was who i was when i was with paid gamers. But due to the fact that it's a kiddish kinda site and im not PG friendly i left the fact that it is a good friend of mines site i wont go in to anymore detail. But just a warning to anyone who cant communicate PG is not the site for you.

Anyway back to my topic. People who should keep there mouth shut and there opinions to them self's. To many fucking times people i know don't know when to stop and don't get me wrong im not saying i haven't done it a few times too but at some stage everyone at one time or another has given there two cents worth when it's not there place too do so. But when people give there take on an opinion you know nothing about you should still have the respect not to directly involve yourself in the matter at hand. Now not very long ago i had this happen to me something happened(and im not telling exactly what) but in the end someone who had no business getting involved but did decided that he was gonna make what i said to someone he doesn't even know all about how it made him feel mind you this CUNT doesn't really know me either. But in the end it became about how i made him feel.

Now i go back to the point it was none of his business and he didn't even have the fucking respect to stop after his two cents no it had to be all about how he felt. Now if anyone who reads this knows someone like this post here and tell people how the fuck cunts like that make you feel

Seriously.. What Can I do?

So.. PaidGamers seems to look like it's heading up the proverbial.. Just a quick note. It's not.

Just head on over and take a look at the forums and judge for yourself.

I just can't seem to explain to peeps that PaidGamers is a FREAK of a fucking website that has done shit people DON'T BELIEVE it has.. Until they see the screenshots.

PaidGamers got WAY to big WAY to fucking quick. Half the shit that went on wasn't "Planned" until next year. I don't know why I did it.. Something worked xD.

Compared to PaidGamers.. A trip back in time to ancient Rome seems like more fun to me right now..

So I'm left with only one thing to do really.. Take Rome as an example. The only way for it to re-build is to fall and currently PG is almost back down to it's foundations.

We have dropped 9 servers, lost numerous staff and FINALLY getting things back to NORMAL again

1. Pay people to review games.
2. Give away random prizes to users.

That's it. Plain and Simple.

If you don't like it. Feel free to leave. It sucks that peeps are leaving but I'm not going to have a cry about it....

"Why do we fall Bruce?"

"So we can learn to pick ourselves up"

Game Facts =O

The Sega Dreamcast was the first console to implement online play over a phone line, calling the system Sega Net.

The Microsoft XBox is the first video game system to completely support HDTV.

Popular Science recognized the Sega Dreamcast as one of the most important and innovative products of 1999.

The Magnavox Odyssey, released in 1972, contained 40 transistors and no microprocessor. The new Pentium 4 microprocessor contains 42 million transistors on the chip itself!

The PlayStation 2 is the first system to have graphics capability better than that of the leading-edge personal computer at the time of its release.

The Nintendo N64 marked the first time that computer graphics workstation manufacturer Silicon Graphics Inc. (SGI) developed game hardware technology.

While the original Atari Football game was first created in 1973, it wasn't released until 1978. It was delayed because the game couldn't scroll
the screen -- players couldn't move beyond the area shown on the
monitor. When the game was finally released, it became the first game
to utilize scrolling, a key part of many games today.

The Atari Pong video game console was the No. 1 selling item for the holiday season in 1975.

The first console to have games available in the form of add-on cartridges was the Fairchild Channel F console, introduced in August 1976.

The PlayStation 2 is the first video game system to use DVD technology.

On the original Magnavox Odyssey, players had to keep score themselves because the machine couldn't.

The Nintendo GameCube's proprietary disc can hold 1.5 gigabytes of data -- 190 times more than what an N64 game cartridge can hold.

On the market from 1991 till 2004, the SNK NeoGeo AES has tied the Atari 2600 (1977-1990) as the longest supported gaming console in history.

The Sega Genesis featured a version of the same Motorola processor that powered the original Apple Macintosh computer.

Mattel's Intellivison system, introduced in 1980, featured an add-on called "PlayCable," which delivered games by cable TV.

Nintendo's Game Boy is the most successful game system ever, with more than 100 million units sold worldwide.

The word atari comes from the ancient Japanese game of Go
and means "you are about to be engulfed." Technically, it is the word
used by a player to inform his opponent that he is about to lose,
similar to "check" in chess.

In the 1980s, a service called Gameline allowed users to
download games to the Atari 2600 over regular phone lines. It was not a
success, but did form part of the foundation for America Online, the
world's largest Internet service provider.

The first color portable video game system was the Atari Lynx, introduced in 1989 and priced at $149.

Introduced in 1993, the 3DO was the first video game system to be based entirely on CD technology.

The Sony PlayStation was originally intended as a CD
add-on to the Super Nintendo. When licensing problems and other issues
arose, Sony decided to develop the PlayStation as a machine of its own.

History of Counter Strike

Counter-Strike is a first person shooter game made by Minh Le and Jess Cliffe. It stemmed from a Half-Life mod, which later on as its popularity arose, received its own stand-alone release. The game puts players in opposing factions: as either terrorists and counter-terrorists, where the primary objective is either destroying the other team or fulfilling mission requirements. In its time, it has created other original releases, as well as influenced other countries with its presence both positive and negative.

History

The first iteration of Counter-Strike (CS) was CS Beta 1.0 in June 1999. There were successive releases of beta versions until the end of 1999, where CS Beta had gone up to the 5.0 version. While it rapidly rose in popularity, the company Valve acquired the Counter-Strike design team to turn Half-Life, a fan based mod at the time, into an official mod. By November 2000, the official retail version of Counter-Strike 1.0 was released.

Types

Other iterations of CS are Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, Counter-Strike: Source, and Counter-Strike for the Xbox. In Condition Zero, released in 2004, creators made a single-player version which contained a number of changes in the graphics, sounds, character models, map geography, and the inclusion of bots. For CS: Source, developers revamped the game by using the Source engine for creation. With this game comes improvements with graphics and physics, updated animations, models, maps, sounds and game play. The Xbox version released in 2003 was playable over the Xbox Live network with multiplayer functionality for a subscription fee. However, this CS version only received a moderate graphical upgrade and was below expectations of the Xbox community.

Facts

When CS 1.0 was released in November 2000, existing Half-Life owners at the time could download the Counter-Strike mod free of charge. Later on, the Counter-Strike game came together with Half-Life, and eventually included other expansions in what was known as the Platinum Pack.

Effects

In September 2007, China's police force in Tianjin brought more than 300 officers for a 3 day competition. According to an article on the People's Daily website (see reference 2) an officer and organizer Zhang Bin said, "The competition is organized to sharpen anti-terrorist skills of Tianjin's police force, as we find the nature of the game very similar to that of our daily practice." Another officer commented that it helped to hone awareness of terrorism due to its similarities to real-life situations. This event was used as a supplement for their training exercises to use weapons, manipulating advantages of differing terrains, and exercise mental aptitude.

Controversy

Brazil banned the sales of Counter-Strike on October 2007 but was not fully enforced until January 2008. According to a quote in the MSN article regarding this issue (see reference 3) by Judge Carlos Alberto Simoes, the game was "...an attack against the democratic state and the law and against public security." The prohibition of sales was put in place because it was claimed that it encouraged violence and that extensive playing was hazardous to the players' health.

Online Gaming Addiction

Where would we be without the internet? It’s become a vital part of our lives, improving communication and convenience. You can yak away to as many friends as you like. And going shopping is as easy as logging onto your Mac or PC. It just makes life easier!

That’s some of the good stuff, but it’s not all fun and games. There’s a dark side too. The internet can be addictive and many people are getting ‘stuck in the net’ and finding it hard to escape.

What is online gaming?

Online games are played on the computer and made possible by the internet. Multi-player games (World of Warcraft, Counter-strike, EverQuest) are the most popular, because players can interact with each other. Research shows that around 70% of young people aged nine to nineteen years old have played online games.

Why do we love it?

Welcome to a whole new world, where anything is possible. Here in cyber-space, time and distance are non-issues, and cultural barriers are broken down. Players from around the world can meet each other in unreal places. There’s a strong sense of community: friends are made...and enemies are thrashed just as quickly.

You can be whoever you want to be. A timid teenager by day, but a fearsome warrior by night! Or why not become an Elven princess, and sweep that dishy warrior off his feet? Smiting evil is only a few mouse clicks away in Cyber Universe. L33t* huh? But don’t be fooled, it’s not that easy. Gaming requires talent. Research (at Brunel University) also shows that players can gain vital social and cultural skills, which will come in handy later in life.

What is online gaming addiction?

This is where it lags*. Online gaming addiction is the most common form of internet addiction. It happens when gamers spend hours online, resulting in them neglecting important areas of their lives, including their health, education, work and/or family. An addict generally spends over four hours at a time gaming and will most likely become pissed off when this isn’t possible.

Many people are familiar with smoking, alcohol and gambling addictions, but gaming addiction isn’t widely known. Mental health professionals are now likely to agree that this addiction exists, yet there is no official diagnosis.

Gaming addiction has no criteria of its own. Instead, the guidelines used to identify problem gamblers are used. Some of these are: preoccupation (always thinking about the activity), lying (about the amount of time spent) and loss of control (failing to cut back time).

Who does it affect?

‘Gamaholics’ are found in different age, cultural and social groups, but teenagers (especially males) seem to be the most affected. Professionals at The Smith & Jones Addiction Clinic believe that 20% of all gamers can become addicted to gaming.
However, some studies suggest that less people are addicted than we think. A number of professionals argue that gaming and gambling addictions are not exactly the same, so different criteria should be used in diagnosis. This could make the numbers misleading.

What are the causes?

Addictions of any kind occur when one action becomes the central focus of a person’s life. Like many other addictions, low self esteem, depression, problems in the home environment and poor social skills are common causes of gaming addiction. Relying too heavily on games to provide relief and distraction from the ‘real world’ is another one, especially when fantasy comes into play. Quitting is no easy task. The social and competitive nature of gaming (i.e. who can own the most noobs*) also makes it hard to step away.

What are the effects?

Of course there are many people who know how to play in moderation. Gaming becomes a problem only when it takes control. College student ‘Dennis’ says ‘the game almost ruined my life’, summing up the dangerous effects of too much gaming.

These can include:

Self-neglect: poor posture, back problems and health issues (such as busted wrists and dry eyes). It’s also not uncommon for addicts to avoid eating, washing or sleeping for days on end! One addict claims: ‘I couldn't go to the toilet because then I would have to leave ... I would take an empty bottle and pee in it’
Poor work performance: spending so much time fighting clan wars affects the performance of many players when it comes to education and work.
Strain on relationships: break–ups can result from players choosing gaming over their partners and families. One form of support offered to the neglected ‘widows’ of game addicts is www.gamerwidow.com (with over 1800 members). This shows how gaming addictions can be a huge deal for family and friends.
Death: although it’s extreme and rare, gaming addiction has been blamed for a number of deaths. One example is when an infant died because his father was too busy gaming to care for him. Some people believe there should definitely be a warning on the box in stores. However, gaming companies claim that it’s up to the players to be responsible.

What’s being done about it?

A rehab gaming clinic (The Smith & Jones GAMESTERDAM clinic) has opened in Amsterdam. It is the first treatment centre in the world for obsessive gamers. Treatment includes ‘gamaholics’ camping, so patients can experience a thrill in other activities. In China, new laws have been introduced to restrict teenagers from playing too much. The internet also has heaps of organisations (like http://www.netaddiction.com/) which provide information for recovery.

*l33t — elite/awesome
* lag — when the game quality stuffs up
*own — dominate
*noobs — inexperienced players

How do I know this?

The problem with humanity today is that 80% of the beings on earth are weak fucksticks, and if given the chance, that couldn't survive 10 minutes on this mortal coil without objects that provide safety.

How do we solve the problems of living with tards?

1. Remove "Safety Lines" from train stations, rail crossings, traffic lights etc etc.
2. Remove "Safety Bars" from stairs, balconies etc.
3. Bring back toys that gave kids survival instincts. Dennis Leary loves this theory in way of "BB Guns" The kid's who lose an eye aren't smart enough to duck. Problem solved.

It's all about separating the weak form the strong.

Cullan Mulvey's Casting Agents.... FAIL

Okay so if you don’t know who Callan Mulvey is, he is a great Australian (he is orig from NZ) actor from way back when.

I remember Callan on a show called Heartbreak High where he played a character named Drazic who was a bit of a nut on Rollerblades.

Just let me first say, CM ws unfortunatly in a car accident a few years ago which left the right hand side of his face somewhat “Collapsed”. He had to have major surgery and from this has ended up with a pretty hefty scar and also a quite noticable “Bung Eye”. Don’t get me wrong, poor bastard, it isn’t his fault and I still think he is a fantastic actor.

There is one problem I have. That is with the casting agents that take CM on in roles.

Example 1: Mark Moran – Melbourne Underworld Figure, Murderer, Drug Barron, Family Guy..

vs

I mean, yes he is dead. If he was alive, how do you think he would like being portrayed by an actor with a slow eye? Yes, he played a great part, but how the fuck am I supposed to take him seriously as a “Hard Cunt”? Yeah the scar played into it.. MORAN DIDN’T HAVE A SCAR!!!

Example 2: Brendan Joshua – Australian Police Action/Drama – “Rush” (Chan 10)

C’mon, seriously! Tell me if you were “Arrested”by this mug above you could contain yourself from laughter while he tries to look (which way?) serious…… “Stop, Police!” .. “Who are you talking to mate.. Me or him?”

Just think about that shit. Cast the bloke in decent new roles where the eye or scar don’t affect viewing him as a “Serious” actor. He could easily be a Heath Ledger / Hugh Jackman of Australian Acting. If Hollywood took a look I think they would for sure snap him up for a movie or two.. Just don’t put him in a role where he doesn’t fit

So for fuck sake.. Realise I'm not having a go at CM.. I'm having a go at the people who cast him. Fuck you!

My Gripes with BF2

Okay so I have wanted to get this vented for a while....

There is one thing that shits me to tears with Battlefield 2.. That is TARDS that are playing on servers. Fuckwits that come into game and have no idea what they are doing. They make themselves look like douche bags and they fuck the fun up for everyone else..

Example 1... Medics that don't revive people.. If you aren't going to revive cunts.. DON'T FUCKING GO MEDIC YOU PUSSY CUNTS.

Example 2.. Commanders that don't know how to fucking command team by team. If you aren't skilled enough to tell people what to do, kill, and warn everyone of upcoming dangers.. DON'T FUCKING GO COMMANDER

Example 3.. Choppers & Plane. If you don't know how to fly, change weapons and shoot at the same time... DON'T FUCKING GET IN A CHOPPER..

There are just 3 prime example of BF2 Tards. Oh and to fuckstiks who call me a hack because I'm talented enough to shoot you in the head 3 times in a row... EAT MY NEXT BULLET CUNT!

So this thread should be short and sweet.

1. Abbreviated name: ПЏĿĐı
2. There will only ever be the Nulled1's that are currently on-board. If we REALLY do see fit to have anyone in, they will be first put on a tight apprenticeship. I don't see this happening any time before around the start of 2011.. I could be wrong though.
2.a) If you want to start to impress us early, feel free to start your own blog here on the NMForums: http://nmforums.info/index.php?/blogs/ - Depending on how your blog goes (views, subscribers, comments etc) is how we may judge. (Example - http://nmforums.info/index.php?app=blog&module=display&section=blog&blogid=2 - Author SuperCannons)
3. Don't ask to be involved until we put word out we are looking. If you do so "Refusal Often Offends" and most people don't like to hear "Get fucked".
4. Nothing I just thought I'd make you read.

Piecing should be legal

Quote

Piece: The term for large graffiti pieces that took time, effort, and beforehand practice and sketches. To burn or defile a 'Piece' by quickly writing something over it is dispicable in the graffiti culture.

It should be legal imo there are true artists out there who cop nothing but jail time for making awesome artwork and brightening up the city of Melbourne.

Simply don't understand why people are being sent to jail for this kind of thing when other piece and stencil artists such as Banksy not only get away with it.. but are commemorate for it.

Icebreak FTFW!

Okay so those who know me personally know I like my Ice Break. How much do I like my Icebreak? Well just check out the pics below.

I could easily, and have on one or two occasions, down 5Lt of this shit a day! Easily!

If I get the chance I get myself a 1.25Lt in the morning on the way to work from the usual service station that is on the way, if I have enough money, I tend to drink it quick because I know I can get another bottle. I will then get what I can find from around but some days I can get picky and wont take one of the piss and mouth full 500ml bottles. I usually try for a 750 but if the 1.25 is available, BONUS! I have also gotten into the swing of remembering throughout my journeys where sells the stuff, what sizes they have and how much they charge. Not to mention that Coles now stock the ALMIGHTY 2Lt!

The 2Lt may even become my new best friend!

The local foodies cops a fair serving usually sucking me into at least one 1.25 a day.

So lets make a rough estimate (not inc. 2Lt's cos they are randoms ). That’s 1.25Lt ($5.35)+750ml(4.00)+750ml (4.00)= 2.75Lt = $13.35 a day (=) 13.75Lt = $66.75 in a working week (=) 715Lt = $694.20 a year. Not that much xD

You be the judge on if I like the shit or not!

IceBreak FTW!

Just a bit of knowledge on what you could contribute to if your a shit person

Alrighty then before i start im doing my cert4 in youth work and my cert4 in mental health so im learing about the link between emotinal, physical, and sexual abuse. Also were looking in to the links that all abuse has to peolpe latter in life eg. drug addictions social difficults, violent behaviou,r and sexual problems.

So im gonna start with mental health a mental illness is diagnosed as an illness that affects your personality, judgement, and outlook on life.

Mental illness does not always mean there is a problem it can be many thing eg.add, adhd, first stage psychosis, skitsofrenia.
It can be mild or sever it can happen due to birth defect, acquired brain injury. (car accident truma to the brain) drug use in some cases and of course abuse. But dont mastake some drugs for others eg. weed can be atributed to skitsofrenia what i mean by this is that it can acctivate it but CAN NOT CAUSE IT other drugs like speed, pills, ice, coke, overload the brains capacity to evenly disstribute dopamine this causes you to feel extreme bouts of euphoric pleasure or bouts of extreme angar or extreme paranoia(weed can also lead to paranoia in some people) but with this comes more questions. There is what they call high functioning drug addicts and low functioning ones a high functioning drug addict is someone who takes drugs but whos life and livelyhood do not suffer chances are you know someone whos a high functioning drug addict and wouldent even know it. A low functioning drug addict is the opposite some one whos life and livlyhood are dramaticly affected. Anyway enough on drugs for now.

Mental health is looked at like what kind of mental illness do they have is it mild or sever can they look arfter them selfs eg. feed them selfs clean themselfs there houses can they pay for things all on there own if so they useually get a caseworker that will check up on them once a week. if they cant do any of the above the caseworker needs to be more involved. You act on your client behalf and in there best intrest you help by organising someone to take care of there money making sure the bills are payed food is available and making sure someone is there to cook it. In short insuring that quality of life is met. in some bad cases you may even have to advocate on someones behalf this mean that they can no longer see whats good for them in other words the illness has taken there ability to remember to eat or clean them selfs no longer being able to understand the procedures of life food, rent, bills you get the idea. But with all this there comes the rules you have to follow.

.Leaving your views and values at the door. lets face it your not allways going to like the decisions that your client may make it could be many reasons view, values, views being religion community, upbringing, whatever they like after all we are free to belive what we want. You work for them so you support them if you like it or not.

.Duty of care. Duty of care is what you are expected to do for your client based on the amount of care they need to breach your duty of care is very serious violation that can lose you your job and the ability to ever work in that industry ever again or can result in jail time

.Code of ethics. your code of ethics is what you need to do eg.a woman client get abused by her father and tells you not to tell the police your code of ethics state that you must report all physicl, and sexual abuse but only if your client does no comprehend what happaning or is under legal age 18.

well anyway thats all for now ill keep adding more after all information is good because maybe one day someone you care about may need this help
